Reconciliation Action Plan

Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art Reconciliation Action Plan 25 During the first all-staff RAP workshop, GOMA / Photographs: Joe Ruckli QAGOMA’s Reconciliation Working Group QAGOMA is committed to supporting reconciliation through all Gallery operations. At the outset of our reconciliation journey, the Reconciliation Working Group (RWG) comprised almost 30 staff from across the organisation, including two members who identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Reporting to the Executive Management Team (EMT) and the Indigenous Advisory Panel (IAP), and championed internally by Simon Elliott (Deputy Director, Collection and Exhibitions), the RWG is instrumental in developing, implementing and reporting the outcomes of the RAP, as well as championing First Australian cultures, values and experiences. The RWG will meet four times a year, sharing outcomes with all staff and formally reporting to the Indigenous Advisory Panel and Board of Trustees.
